Behind the initative Blind Spots in the Sun are people who are actively committed to an open and free society. We want to counteract the still openly experienced everyday racism and raise awareness for the topic.

Henrik Langsdorf
works in the area of art in public space, video installation and design. His video installation "Ville Fantôme/Kinshasa La Belle" was shown at the Congo Biennale in Kinshasa.
He is the initiator of Blind Spots in the Sun.

Michael Fubel
is a cultural coach and networker. As founder and managing director of DIVA Werbung, he supports artists, museums, cinemas, clubs, theaters and event organizers as well as fairs and exhibitions in all areas of marketing.

Ruth Hunstock
is an anti-racism activist and founder of the initiative "SIDE BY SIDE - Afro-German and Black People Northern Hesse". She achieved that the city of Kassel was one of the first cities in Germany to officially ban the N-word and the first city to ban the M-word. She is a foreign language correspondent and works in Kassel.

Thomas Szász
is a consultant and trainer in the field of media and publishing. He is founder and managing director of Smartshop Strategies and a founding member of Blind Spots in the Sun.
